Pastured Eggs

Pastured eggs means that our hens are kept in the paddock, on pastures. For shelter, they have purpose built chicken caravans. They lay their eggs in nesting boxes in the caravans. At night they roost on the perches in the caravans. During the day they are free to roam, forage and dust bath, literally from sunrise to sunset.

 

We move our hens onto clean, fresh pasture every two to three days. This means that they have constant access to fresh forage, grubs and insects. On top of that, we also feed our hens a certified organic feed mix.
